How It Works

MergerID is a global M&A marketplace designed by practitioners to identify real opportunities in the mid-market by bringing together buyers and sellers.

Subscribers position themselves in a first round “scoping” exchange by uploading posters defining key preferences such as, geography, deal metrics, bracketed industry classifications and a range of comparable companies. Matching is shown on each subscriber’s dashboard and takes place primarily around similar industry classifications.

The second round governs access to a much more informative online teaser level of disclosure designed to allow buyers to make an informed desktop decision. Sellers can grant access to chosen buyers and buyers can petition to be granted access.

Beyond the teaser, the parties can choose to disclose their identity and contact details to allow the traditional M&A process to operate.
